More than a year ago, I started a round-the-world trip not really just to travel and see what's out there, but mostly to try and understand other cultures, their priorities, their views on the outside world, far far away from what I had seen so far.
I also wanted to learn things that I would carry with me for the rest of my life, not just instant pleasure for my eyes and my camera lenses. So I set off for South America, on a journey to learn and remember.
I have now completed a round-the-world tour, being (almost) back where I started: Hong Kong.
In doing the above, I opened a blog for my family to keep track of my whereabouts, but was very bad at it (I've always been such a bad son/nephew/cousin/brother!). This is an attempt to better my bloggings and be better inspired too. Given that I have a lot more spare time on my hands (no longer hanging out on beaches of Brazil or Cuba, you see), I'm hoping this version will work!
My old blog is below:

I will attempt to make a summary of my past year's travels, to avoid forcing you to painfully check out the other horrible blog.
